On October 17, 2024, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce had the privilege of visiting Kood Johvi, a cutting-edge, tuition-free coding school located in Johvi. Our visit began with an insightful introduction from Kätlin Merisalu, the Head of the Learning Centre, who explained the school’s innovative approach to education and how it empowers students through project-based learning.

Following her presentation, we enjoyed a guided tour of the impressive facilities, where we had the opportunity to interact with the students. Their enthusiasm and engagement were palpable, showcasing the vibrant learning environment that Kood Johvi fosters. We explored various spaces designed for collaboration and creativity, which highlight the school’s commitment to equipping students with the skills necessary for success in the tech industry.

This visit was truly inspirational, illustrating how Kood Johvi is shaping the future of education and nurturing the next generation of tech talent in Estonia. We extend our sincere thanks to Kätlin Merisalu and the entire Kood Johvi team for their warm hospitality and for sharing their vision with us. We look forward to more opportunities to support innovation and collaboration within our community.
